An original and very scarce pouch badge of the 2nd Volunteer Battalion East Kent Regiment. A Victorian era piece of insignia worn circa 1880 for a short period.
Three-part construction badge of darkened brass and white metal. The crown and horse joined to circlet. Threaded post fasteners top and bottom. Edge contact marks to the circlet, visible from reverse.
