A substantial mixed collection of more than 80 British Army cap badges and related military insignia, covering a wide variety of regiments, corps, periods and badge styles.
The collection includes infantry, Scottish, fusilier, cavalry, corps and other regimental insignia, with a particularly good variety of traditional brass, white metal, bi-metal and darker-finished badge types.
Among the more immediately recognisable pieces are badges associated with Scottish regiments, Middlesex, South Wales Borders, East Yorkshire, Suffolk, Royal Air Force and Royal Engineers, together with a number of numbered and less commonly encountered patterns.
This is a mixed lot containing both genuine period badges and later restrikes/reproductions. Individual pieces have not been separately authenticated or classified and the collection is therefore offered as a bulk collector, study or dealer lot.
