After WW2 Rhodesia Regiment Green Beret

An original beret of The Rhodesia Regiment. A green wool beret, complete, with black silk liner, sweat liner and maker details; S.A. Beret Manfrs (Pty.) Ltd., 82 Strand Street, Woodstock, C.P. Republic of South Africa. With blacked cap badge, red plastic backing, which is has details: Name: Singleton, Service/ID number: 125232K. Blue and white hackle. Size not marked but estimated at 57/58.

Cracking and splitting to the leather sweatband. General age and usage tones.

Post-war 1940's - 1950's vintage, named, and in fine condition.
