An original Austro -Hungarian Empire Red Cross Honour medal, bronze grade.
35.5 mm width. Bronze and enamel. Front showing two angels each side of the central enameled Red Cross banner, underneath a star. Lower inscription "patriae ac humanitari" (country and humanity). Reverse simply dated "1864-1914". On white and red triangular fold ribbon in the Austrian manner.
Minor contact marks and surface marks. No enamel losses.
