Instituted March 1898. 34 mm die struck bronze, gilt finish, inscribed "Signum Memoriae" with ribbon in the Austrian style. There is some light gilding loss and very minor rim contact marks. Was issued to members of the Austro-Hungarian Armed Forces to commemorate the reign of the Emperor Franz-Joseph I.
