An original and scarce proficiency arm badge of the Royal Army Medical Corps. Worn by medical orderlies and stretcher bearers during both the Boer War and the First World War.
Approx. 60 mm diameter. Woven construction. Seems to be unissued. Small glue spots where previously mounted. Very good condition. This type of badge worn in service from circa 1880 to 1930.
