Original Second World War era British Glengarry forage cap of a Gordon Highlanders Regiment.
Constructed in a high-grade navy blue/black wool, the lower dyed red and white "diced" patterning. The cap retains its original white metal other ranks cap badge and black cotton backing.
The cap is in great condition given it's age. No visible signs damages or mothing. There is a repair made to the right side as worn, well executed in and out.
Internal tailor stamp. Size is not marked but seems to be about 58/59.
A superb piece of WW2 era British Army headgear, ideal for collectors of militaria, re-enactors, or displays.
