Original Second World War era British Glengarry forage cap of The Highland Light Infantry Regiment.
Constructed in a high-grade dark green wool, the traditional colouring of light infantry formations. The cap retains its original white metal other ranks cap badge, black cotton bowed backing and tails.
The cap is in great condition given it's age. Outer band split as the forward fold line, a small pin hole in the wool near the cap badge.
Internal tailor label. Size is marked as "6-3/4".
A superb piece of WW2 era British Army headgear, ideal for collectors of militaria, re-enactors, or displays.
