An original and scarce officer's cap badge of Queen Alexandra's Royal Army Nursing Corps (Q.A.R.A.N.C.). Worn 1949-1952 only.
24.5 x 40 mm. Gilded alloy and silver plate construction. Two lug mounts to reverse. Maker marked J.R. GAUNT LONDON. Excellent condition. Only a small amount of silver plate loss detracts.
