Original pair of postwar Canadian Army shoulder titles for the Governor General’s Horse Guards (GGHG). Constructed of black felt with bold yellow machine embroidery reading “GOVERNOR GENERAL’S HORSE GUARDS / CANADA.” These arc-shaped titles were worn on the battledress by members of this prestigious Canadian Reserve Armoured Regiment based in Toronto.
The reverse shows typical period construction with cheesecloth backing. A well-preserved matched set, ideal for collectors of postwar Canadian militaria or regimental insignia. Fine condition.
