Early Hitler Youth Belt Buckle A&S RZM 17

An early and original Hitler Youth belt buckle.

48 x 63 mm. Nickel construction buckle. HJ eagle centre and diamond shape political symbol typical of the youth organisation. Inside a circlet inscribed "blut und ehre" (blood and honour).

Steel rotating belt buckle, brass clasp. Maker marked A&S (Assmann), RZM 17. 

Surface wear from usage and polishing. Surface scratches and marks. 

A scarce early and highly desirable original buckle.
