An original example of a WW2 German Army (Heer) officer’s tunic breast eagle. Hand-embroidered in silver bullion thread on a dark green backing. This type of insignia was worn on the tunic left breast by commissioned officers of the German Army (Heer).
The detailing includes the national eagle with outstretched wings clutching the political emblem, executed in high-quality bullion wire typical of officer-grade insignia. This eagle has not been mounted. Trace moth nip. 105 mm width.
