A scarce matched pair of silver-tone oakleaf collar badges worn by members of the German Freikorps during the post-WWI period.
Each badge features a sharply detailed oakleaf design, symbolic of German martial tradition and commonly associated with elite volunteer units active during the turbulent years following the Great War (circa 1919–1923).
These badges are die-struck in base metal with a silvered finish, showing age patina and slight wear consistent with period use. Rear fittings intact and original. A fine addition for collectors of Freikorps insignia or interwar German militaria.
