Original Imperial German 5-place medal bar featuring the 1914 Iron Cross 2nd Class, Württemberg Silver Merit Medal, Hindenburg Cross with Swords, Prussian 9-Year Long Service Medal, and Austrian 40-Year Long Service Medal. Mounted with original ribbons and fittings, this grouping represents both WWI combat and career military service, including cross-national decorations.
The Iron Cross is ring stamped "IW" (Iohann Wagner & Sohn, Berlin). The Hindenburg Honor Cross has reverse mark "0.6". The Austrian 40-year medal (XXXX Annorum Signum Laboris) seems to have the incorrect ribbon, it's the ribbon of the Medal of Honor for 40-years Service. This ribbon is stained. The medals have minor contact marks and surface marks.
