An original Prussian feldmutze cap. Red crown and piping (infantry designation) with stiffened black wool band, a bronze Prussian button cockade applied. Inner black cotton lining, plastic diamond with maker details: "Otto Dittmann Mützenfabrik, Dresden N15", a known pre-WWI and WWI-era military outfitter. Size label 58.
Fair wear and tear for it's age, a small repair to the top of the crown. A good and untouched original Prussian field cap.
