Italian Black Shirts Colonial Militia Pith Helmet Badge
Italian Black Shirts Colonial Militia Pith Helmet Badge
A rare and historically significant Italian Black Shirts (Milizia Coloniale) pith helmet badge from the Fascist era. This badge was worn by colonial militia forces in Italy’s overseas territories, including North and East Africa, typically affixed to the front of tropical pith helmets during the 1930s–early 1940s.
Crafted in brass, the badge typically features the fasces symbol along with cross swords, and horn, underneath Royal Crown. This example retains original mounting pins, with age-appropriate patina and wear.
These badges are sought after by collectors of WW2 Italian militaria, colonial-era artifacts, and Fascist regime insignia, and rarely surface in original, unmodified condition.
Note: Offered as a collectible for historical research and reference only. Not intended to promote any ideology.
