Medal retains good detail with light patina, ideal for collectors of WW2 German awards.
The Sudetenland Medal was instituted on 18 October 1938 to commemorate the German annexation of the Sudetenland from Czechoslovakia, following the Munich Agreement. It was awarded to military personnel and civilians who participated in or supported the occupation, and later extended to those involved in the March 1939 occupation of Prague.
