A fine original example of a Second World War British Army officer's service dress cap, as worn by officers of the Royal Artillery.
Constructed in khaki wool with a wide leather chinstrap and stiff peak, this cap features the classic Royal Artillery bronze cap badge to the front, complete with the motto "Ubique" and "Quo Fas et Gloria Ducunt". The interior is lined in soft cotton with a leather sweatband (maker details not visible).
