An original and scarce officer's cap badge of the East Bengal Regiment.
Cast white metal construction, either native silver or silver plated. Original lug mounts in the British style. 45 x 33 mm. Very good condition.
Worn circa 1947 to 1971, pre-Bangladesh Liberation War (East Pakistan). The pattern changed after East Pakistan became the People's Republic of Bangladesh.
