A scarce and original late 19th-century United States Marine Corps helmet badge. Constructed of bronzed stamped brass or bronze, featuring the iconic Eagle, Globe, and Anchor motif with Western Hemisphere lines and detailed fouled anchor. Reverse with central threaded post and original securing nut and two anti-rotation pins to rear of eagle wings. Excellent condition with untouched bronzed patina. Measures approximately 85mm x 85mm. Rare to find complete, undamaged, and unpolished.
