A rarely encounter breast badge for a Commander of Anti-Aircraft Armored Car Units. Early Soviet Russia era post revolution.
42.5 x 56 mm. White metal/tombak and enamel construction. The separately applied central insignia of a winged wheel, steering wheel/rack under a Maxim machine gun. Surmounted by red star in enamel again separately applied. The parts are tightly held by pins. Threaded post and wing nut mount. Nut maybe a replacement.
The star with a surface chip otherwise badge is in very good condition. Good age patina.
