Badges like this “Arbeitsschlacht Gau Bayr. Ostmark” tinnie were issued to commemorate large-scale labor drives or regional RAD events — often involving rallies, marches, and public labor exhibitions. “Gau Bayr. Ostmark” refers to the Bavarian Eastern March region, an administrative division of the Nazi party, encompassing parts of eastern Bavaria.
