Original First Pattern Third Reich Police cap badge, used during the early years of Nazi Germany (1934-1936). This striking two-part die-stamped brass insignia features the open-winged eagle clutching an emblem within a wreath.
The First Pattern design predates the later, more stylized forms and was worn on early peaked caps. Reverse retains its original attachment prongs. A scarce and highly collectible early Third Reich police insignia.
