An original and rare officer's Tschapka helmet badge of the 4th Lancers, early 20th century circa World War One. Die stamped on sheet brass with silver sheet metal overlay, numeral 4 surmounted by crossed lances. 195 mm x 118 mm, complete with fastenings. Small dints and surface marks commensurate with age and material type. Fine condition.
