A genuine Victorian through WW1-era glengarry cap badge to the Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders. Struck in white metal with fine detail, this early example features the regiment's distinct intertwined boar and thistle wreath design, enclosed by the motto "ARGYLL & SUTHERLAND." This version would have been worn on the glengarry or tam o’ shanter, and it displays classic wartime construction typical of badges issued during the Great War and beforehand
