An original Princess Mary gift tin. As gifted by the Princess Mary fund, to all serving soldiers, sailors, and support workers on Christmas Day 1914.
A 13 x 8.5 x 3 cm pressed brass tin. The lid embossed with the bust of Princess Mary. Bordered by decoration and the name of the Allied countries during 1914.
The tin is lightly dented and marked. Polish residue within recesses. The lid is tight to the tin itself. A very good example.
