An original pair of British Army medals of World War One issue.
The pair consists of the British War Medal (BWM) in silver, 36 mm, and an Inter-Allied Victory Medal, 37 mm, gilded brass. Each medal impressed to the recipient: 29000 PTE. F.J.LAST THE QUEEN'S R. (The Queen's Regiment (West Surrey)). BWM shows rank change to CPL. (Corporal). Contemporary ribbons. Very minor contact marks and surface marks. Gilt finish fade on the Victory medal.
