An original and rare officer's helmet plate of The 24th Essex Regiment (Chatham, Ontario). 113 mm x 130 mm, alloy with gilded finish, separately applied silvered beaver and banner, complete with all fixings. Gilding fade to the front. Worn 1901-1920. Rare.
