An original and fine example of the 1914 Iron Cross 2nd Class. The Iron Cross is a 3-piece made award with silver frame and blackened iron core, the suspension ring is not stamped with a maker mark. Mounted in the Austrian style to triangular shaped ribbon, of the correct wide width, indicating issue to a Austrian Empire individual, scarce to find. Clean, patina to silver. Fine condition.
