An original WWI German Black Wound Badge (Verwundetenabzeichen in Schwarz), awarded to soldiers who were wounded once or twice by hostile action during the First World War.
A non-ferrous badge, die stamped alloy or zinc, unable to tell as the blackened finish is very well preserved. Complete with pin mount.
