Original WWI German Iron Cross 2nd Class medal, bearing the maker's mark "H" (Paul Hossauer, Berlin). Classic three-piece construction with magnetic core and silvered frame.
Very light black paint losses on the iron core, oxidation spot on the front upper core arm edge. Shortened, period ribbon.
