This high-quality tunic features full Major rank insignia on the epaulettes, and a ribbon bar indicating prior service and decorations, including oakleaf for Mention in Dispatches. Inner naming label to (Major) J. C. Hutton.
Constructed in a high-grade khaki wool, the tunic retains its original gilded brass buttons and exhibits excellent wartime tailoring typical of a senior officer.
The tunic shows wear consistent with use, small holes both externally and internally in the silk lining. Some light staining and age and usage related tones.
