Course weave cotton bunting, multi-part construction machine woven together. Cotton hoist and original hoist rope. The hoist tape stamped "Red Ensign" and "2-breadth", referring to the size, 91 × 46 cm. Also maker marked "J. R. Dominy – Flag Maker (Aston-on-Trent, Derby)". A known wartime supplier to the Admiralty.
Edge frayed, small holes, and light staining from service use.
