An original cap badge of the Grenadier Guards of Canada. Mobilised in 1940 and converted from an infantry unit to the 22nd Canadian Armoured Regiment. They landed in France in July 1944 and fought with distinction through the Normandy Campaign and the liberation of North-West Europe
