Original French M1926 Adrian helmet issued to artillery troops. Retains the flaming bomb and crossed cannon front badge, signifying artillery branch. Constructed of stamped steel with a rolled-edge skirt and prominent central crest.
This model simplified many features of the earlier M15 design and was widely issued between the World Wars and into early WWII.
The original liner mounts remain in place, lacks a liner and chinstrap. The helmet showing field use and wear. Retains a dark brown/black paint finish with expected patina from age. Feint stamping on the inner dome. A strong display piece from the interwar and WWII periods of the French Army.
