Original World War Two French Model 1926 Adrian helmet featuring the emblem of the French Navy (Marine), identifiable by the anchor within the circlet.
The helmet retains its original paint finish and leather and horsehair liner and the chinstrap. A fine and evocative example of interwar or wartime French headgear.
The chinstrap leatherwork is dry and cracked, the rivets are oxidized, so is the frontal steel badge.
