Original WW2 German Army (Heer) M43 cap insignia pairing featuring the BeVo-woven national eagle and a tricolour cockade.
This machine-woven pattern was regulation for the M43 feldmütze and field caps issued from 1943 onward. The eagle is finely executed in grey thread, typical of wartime production by BeVo-Wuppertal. The separate cockade is of similar manufacture with black white and red national tri-color.
Uncut and in excellent condition, with crisp detailing. A textbook example ideal for completing a field cap or for display in a WW2 German uniform collection.
