A 1957 edition of the German Cross in Gold. A 65 mm cross, silver plated, burnished, gold plated 1941 circlet, the various parts held by 4 rivets, on pin mount for wear. Fine condition. An original mid-century piece and not a modern reproduction.
These reissued versions are according to the German law of 1957 which permitted this without the a political emblem.
