An original Eastern People's Medal (Ostvolkmedaille) 2nd Class, Gold grade. Awarded to non-German personnel from Eastern European countries who served with distinction in support of the German war effort, particularly on the Eastern Front.
41 mm width. Zinc construction with a gilded finish. Almost all of which is retained. Quite a rarity for these awards. Fitted with the original suspension ring, ribbon, and pin.
Condition is very good. Some light bubbling to the reverse.
