An original WW2 German Luftwaffe cockade wreath, as worn on the front of Luftwaffe enlisted and NCO visor caps. Constructed from stamped aluminum with silvered finish and crisp detailing throughout, this cockade and oak leaf wreath retains much of its original finish. The central cockade is painted in national colors (black, white, and red) and remains well-preserved. Two attachment prongs are present and intact on the reverse.
A genuine piece of Third Reich headgear insignia, ideal for collectors of WW2 German militaria or as a replacement component for restoration of an original Luftwaffe Schirmmütze.
