An original United States Army formation sign of the 8th Infantry Division, nicknamed "Pathfinders". As worn by serving members of the division during World War Two.
Machine woven cloth, cut-edge, 52 x 70 mm. A variation i design of the shield. Paper residue to reverse from previous album mounting. Fine condition.
The division fought the landings at Normandy and the campaign through to Germany.
