An original and very rare cap badge of the Dublin Volunteers, Irish Volunteers.
Approx. 39 x 39 mm star. Gilding metal construction. Central "FF" (Fianna Fáil) lettering and belt circlet inscribed "Drong Áta Cliat" (Dublin Volunteers). Reverse with pin mount. Often associated with issue for women. Very good condition.
