An original and very scarce pair of shoulder boards of a Royal Navy Reserve Commodore. A high ranking naval officer.
53 x 127 mm. Gilt braided insignia. Black/navy blue wool backing. Each with gilded button. Reverse leather lining and attachment laces. Made by Gieves Limited, under Royal Appointment.
Light staining and marks otherwise very good condition.
